New Funding for Registered Managers

The Workforce Development Fund (WDF) has announced that £3 million pounds of funding for 2019/20 has been ring-fenced to support the learning and development for registered managers, deputies and aspiring managers.

CAHSC Learning Partnership are happy to announce that our members across Cornwall, Devon and IoS can access this funding through our newly commissioned learning programmes, delivered by Skills for Care endorsed provider FreeBird Associates.

To receive WDF funded places on these learning programmes you must be registered and compliant on ASC-WDS and have completed our WDF Partnership members form. “I have learnt a lot due to the Lead to Succeed programme.  My confidence grew massively as I realised that I knew a lot of things already, I just didn’t put it into practice. I have already been able to use my new skills and knowledge in my job.”  - Feedback from an Aspiring Manager as part of the Skills for Care aspiring manager pilot.
